This Privacy Policy explains how vibeTEXT LLC ("vibeTEXT," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the vibeTEXT device, our mobile and web applications, the parent portal, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, billing address, and account credentials provided by the Account Owner.
- Device and child user information — device identifiers (such as IMEI), the display name or nickname assigned to a device, contacts and caregivers you add, and configuration settings.
- Messages and communications — messages, media, and delivery information sent through the Services in order to transmit and deliver them.
- Location information — GPS and related location data from the device, used for location sharing and safety features such as SOS alerts.
- Payment information — processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Usage and technical data — log data, device diagnostics, app interactions, and similar information used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, activate, and support the Services;
- Deliver messages, location updates, and emergency/SOS features;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, and service updates;
- Send transactional and, with your consent, promotional messages;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Children's privacy
vibeTEXT is intended to be purchased and managed by a parent or legal guardian for use by a child. We rely on the Account Owner to provide verifiable parental consent for the collection and use of a child's information as described in this policy. A parent or guardian may review, update, or request deletion of their child's information by contacting us at info@vibetext.com. We do not knowingly collect information from children except as enabled by the Account Owner to provide the Services.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers who help us operate the Services (such as cellular carriers, cloud hosting, payment processors, and messaging providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- Between authorized users on your account (such as parents and caregivers);
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or vibeTEXT; and
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
We do not share mobile information, including phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with our service providers is solely to support delivery of the Services (for example, to send the text messages you request).
5. SMS / text messaging program
vibeTEXT operates SMS/text messaging programs to communicate with customers. This section describes those programs and how you consent to and manage them, including the disclosures required for our messaging providers.
Types of messages
By opting in, you may receive the following categories of messages:
- Transactional / account messages — order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, activation and account notices, billing and renewal reminders, security alerts, and customer-support replies.
- Emergency / safety alerts — SOS alerts and related safety notifications tied to a vibeTEXT device on your account.
- Promotional / marketing messages — offers, sales, product news, and other promotional information. Promotional messages are only sent to recipients who have separately opted in to marketing messages.
Consent and opt-in
When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in — for example, by checking a consent box, submitting a form, or texting a keyword — you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from vibeTEXT at the number provided. Consent to receive promotional or marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received messages. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as you did initially and we will resume sending messages.

Carriers and cost
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. vibeTEXT and the mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy of mobile information
We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS consent to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to operate and deliver the messaging programs you have opted into and is shared only with service providers (such as our SMS provider) that help us deliver those messages, subject to their confidentiality obligations.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address issues if they arise.
8. Your choices and rights
You may access or update account information through the parent portal or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@vibetext.com. You may opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link and out of SMS messages by replying STOP.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
